Clipped wings of flightless birds, I shouldn't whine. It was to be expected, That I would be alone. Lonely and rejected A king overthrown. In the spiral down It dark before I blink I wore a fool's crown A weak chain in a link.

It's sad to feel, To ponder, to know Words that used to heal, Now belong to the crow

You fill me up with empty words Your real ones are used elsewhere. Clipped wings of flightless birds. Do you really care?

I wish I knew back then, That it was me dreaming. You played me like a hen, Your words had no meaning.

A man walked in the woods and came upon a flower, he noted it's beauty and told it so. Everyday he would walk by the flower and would tell it how beautiful it was and everyday it grew taller and more vibrant. Then one day as the man walked by, the flower grabbed him in its roots. The flower kept the man near it so that the man would never stop telling the flower how beautiful it was. The flower cared not for the man,it cared only of his words. When the flower grew bored of the man it tossed him aside, he wasn't enough for the flower. The flower never cared about the man. No one ever did.
